Cookie Policy

Cookies and Other Storage
Kruti, provided by RV Anveshana LLP, uses browser storage for local editing and preferences. Cookies are small values the browser can send with website requests. Local storage and IndexedDB are different: their contents are not automatically sent with each request. This policy covers all three.
The Notice Cookie
cookie_consent is a first-party cookie set to true when you select "Got it" on the storage notice. Its expiry is 365 days after acknowledgement. Despite its historical name, it records acknowledgement of the notice, not permission for analytics, advertising or unrestricted data collection. Dismissing the notice does not switch the editor's local storage on or off.
You can use the editor without acknowledging the notice. Blocking or removing this cookie may make the notice appear again.
Local Storage
themeremembers the selected light or dark appearance.kruti-editor-preferencesremembers editor defaults: background choice, canvas size, background parameters, reusable font family, up to five recently applied font identifiers, color lock, randomize settings, and export format and scale. Palette colors are saved when locked. It does not store post text or uploaded image or font files.kruti-personal-phrasesstores the personal text collection you enter in My phrases, up to 500 unique lines. It is separate from editor defaults and is not uploaded automatically. Clear My phrases to remove the collection.
These values have no automatic expiry set by Kruti. Reset remembered defaults in the Canvas panel to restore editor defaults without changing the current post; theme is a separate setting.
IndexedDB and Cached Resources
IndexedDB stores one recoverable working draft and its project association, explicitly saved projects, and Brand Assets with shared uploaded fonts, images, named kits, selected kit and default colors/fonts. Projects retain embedded asset copies independently of the shared library. These records have no automatic expiry set by Kruti, but browsers can evict storage. They are not cloud backups and do not follow you to another browser or device.
Your browser may also cache site files, images and fonts. Cache retention depends on browser and delivery settings and is separate from the saved-design library.
Optional device-font discovery uses browser permission, not the notice cookie. Its list of font names is kept only in memory, not in local storage or IndexedDB. Designs can retain the selected device font name/reference without copying or embedding the font file.
External Services and Tracking
The current application does not include analytics or advertising tracking scripts. Google Fonts requests are used for some page and editor fonts; they disclose connection information to Google. Brand Assets also offers explicit font downloads from direct HTTPS Lipi URLs only, without credentials or a Referer header. The imported files are stored locally; arbitrary remote hosts are not supported. Acknowledging this notice is not a tracking-consent control. Read the Privacy Policy for external requests and contact information.
Managing and Removing Data
Use your browser's settings to inspect or remove cookies, local storage, IndexedDB and cached files for this site. Blocking browser storage can prevent autosave, the saved library or remembered preferences from working. Private browsing may discard data when the session ends.
Download .kruti backups before clearing site data. Clearing all site data removes local designs and preferences and makes the notice eligible to appear again; it does not remove exported files or copies you have shared.
Changes and Questions
We will update this policy if our storage practices change. Any future use requiring consent needs an appropriate choice before activation; continued browsing is not blanket consent.
